George’s Birthday!

Today is my birthday, so here is a picture of my legs –

My friend sent me some money for my birthday, so I bought some fancy tights like all the cool kids.  Lucy had loads of tights, when she started her job she had to actually go out and buy some tights, because she didn’t own any.  I don’t wear tights, because I don’t have the clothes to go with them.

however, I noticed the trend for having tights with cat faces on them, so I wanted in on the action.  so when I got my birthday money off @sirenmoonbee, I bought these off eBay.  and they came this morning!

Not strictly a review, but I don’t care.  I’m reviewing them and giving them MANY STARS!

Aren’t they SO CUTE!?

Ursula v. De Vil

Tons of millions of people around the world collect Star Trek and Star Wars products to keep mint in box.

I recently (last year) started to collect mint in box Disney princess dolls.  Specifically, my favorite Disney films.  I’m not really bothered about Cinderella and Pocahontas, more the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.  I also quite like Mulan and the Frog Princess.

I already have Ariel, Prince Eric And King Triton, so all I need is Ursula the sea witch to complete my Little Mermaid collection.  However, my mum says I shouldn’t get Ursula because ‘she’s horrible’, and said I should get Cruella De Vil instead!  In response I said –

You want me to get a dog killer over a sea witch?!?!?

It doesn’t really matter, Ursula wins.  Next time I go to Chester, i’m getting Ursula. End of.

And maybe Li Shang from Mulan, because I got Mulan for my birthday along with King Triton.  I’m going to need a big wide shelf soon!

Meetup In Wolves

Lucy and I met up in Wolves today for the first time since December! We planned to meet at two, but Lucy’s train had signalling problems around Wellington (I say it was probably stolen cables), and I had to go buy some electric (6 pence left on the meter, all the emergency used up), so we were both a few minutes late. We met at Beattie’s clock, which is a clock on an island outside a department store now bought out by House of Fraser.

We went into Costa (I have a points card), and both got lattes YUM and Lucy gave me my birthday present. HOUSE!

House, every season EVARRRR

We had a bit of rude and lewd conversation, as usual, about nothing in particular, talked about Michael J. Fox, Dick Van Dyke and Lucy’s nan, then we decided to move round the corner for food.

SUBWAY (I have a card)!

Then we went round town, and Lucy was umm-ing and argh-ing over what new handbag to get (not my area).

Back to River Island, to look again at said bags, she gave me a choice. I told her to buy this one –

As you can tell, by the evening we resigned ourselves to the pub. Hog’s Head being pub of choice, a callback to uni days.

And here’s what I drank.

That’s Goldschlager and Red Bull, with a side of Toffee Apple cider.

Then we went to Asda. For mini cheddars and hummus.

That’s my autocorrect, I like to spell it hommous. But hey.

All You Can Eat – The Challenge

Yesterday was my ‘birthday party’ of sorts. I’m 25 on the 5th, so I may as well do something. So what I did was invite my friends out to Cosmo, a pan – Asian, all – you – can – eat, out of town retail park eatery.

Lucy and I have been there before, but she couldn’t switch her shifts to book the night off and come along, so sadly, we went without her. My friend from school, Thylaylii, came along. It was with her that the roughly bi / tri – annual outing started (it used to coincide with student loan payments). We met at Asda Molineux beforehand, with the intention of coffee, but it closed as we got there. So we went to Bentley Bridge and bought coffee) and a starter for me) from McDonald’s instead.

Also in attendance was Shell, the drummer from our band Until Death Calls, Kirsty and Mirriam from work, and also Kayleigh from work. Who brought along her vegetarian boyfriend. To a meal with carnivores. Surrounded my meat. LOL sorry Simon!

Here’s a few pictures (none of me, however).

Plate two?

Our table decoration (I had no hand in this).

I received cards and gifts; chopsticks, a pot noodle with timer, and a pint of cider.

And it was fun! Must give Lucy more notice for the next one though. Hmph. Stupid Spar.
